Define the route and the service responsibility

Supplier matching begins with the product requirement and receiving location, rather than an assumed local dealer network. Record quantity in units or kits, destination ZIP, the date equipment is needed and whether the site can receive pallet freight. Distinguish the requested arrival date from a factory production estimate.

Ask who provides replacement batteries, pump assemblies and technical documents after shipment. Local servicing, installation and commissioning are separate questions; a quotation should identify the responsible party and any exclusions.

Configuration and substitutions

Request tank capacity, wetted-material identification, nozzle flow, working pressure, hose length and wand arrangement on one dated specification sheet. Require a separate statement for substitutions. A larger battery cannot resolve a nozzle or chemical compatibility mismatch.

Sample and acceptance path

Agree the sample configuration and who pays for the item and transport. Use clean water for an initial documented flow and leakage check under the manufacturer's instructions. Record nozzle, pressure, measured volume, test duration and battery condition; application suitability still needs the buyer's specialist review.

Comparable commercial scope

Place MOQ, currency, unit basis, charger inclusion, spare parts, carton count, shipment term and quotation validity alongside unit price. Compare the total cost for the same destination. A budget-friendly option may reduce accessory scope; a premium preference may prioritize repair access and documentation, subject to the supplier's evidence.

Questions before requesting quotations

Do I need an existing price or confirmed MOQ?

No. Send the quantity you intend to purchase and any sample requirement. Each factory must state its MOQ and price basis. If your quantity changes, ask for a revised quotation rather than applying a previous unit price to a different order.

What does a lead-time reply mean?

Ask whether it starts at deposit, artwork acceptance or specification approval, and whether it ends at dispatch or arrival. Transit, import clearance and destination handling should remain visible. No delivery date is confirmed by submitting this form.

How should supplier alternatives be compared?

Keep the requested configuration as the baseline. Mark changes to pump, seals, battery, charger, accessories or service support separately. Read the procurement checklist and require buyer approval before an alternative replaces the brief.
